There is a lot of other evidence. I come back to the original point that I, the noble Lord, Lord Skidelsky, and others have made: it is possible to separate smokers from non-smokers. If people cannot believe that, I am afraid that there is no meeting of minds. Before I was intervened on, I was going to say that I have a lot more to say on this matter, but I shall not do so because it is quite clear that the Committee wants to hasten through this particular part of the Bill. I shall come back to it and raise the points at other stages. I declare and believe that this is an important Bill; that it deserves the utmost scrutiny because it takes away freedoms that people have hitherto enjoyed; and that this Chamber is as entitled as the other House to have a good and proper debate and come to its own conclusions about what we should do. With that, I will sit down, but I have to say that I do so feeling that the attitude of Members of this Committee and particularly that of the Government and the Whips have deprived me of a right which I believed that I enjoyed; but I am beginning to wonder whether I do.
