Proceeding contribution from Baroness Miller of Hendon (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 25 April 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill on Work and Families Bill 2005-06.
Work and Families Bill
My Lords, it is impossible for me to add to what the noble Lord, Lord Northbourne, said. He said it so well that no one could argue with the benefit that would arise when the man takes responsibility, and when the child knows that the man willingly takes responsibility as a father during his growing years. We support the amendment.
