Proceeding contribution from Willie Rennie (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 3 May 2006. It occurred during Adjournment debate on Army Barracks (Deaths).
Army Barracks (Deaths)
: I appreciate that we have made errors in this regard, but we are confident that they will not happen again. I cannot explain what happened on those occasions, but we understand that we have made errors. However, we must not get away from the point. We must improve living conditions for soldiers by providing better accommodation, washing facilities and so on. Will the poor-quality accommodation, identified as a factor, be upgraded?
