Proceeding contribution from Joan Humble (Labour) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 3 May 2006. It occurred during Adjournment debate on Army Barracks (Deaths).

Army Barracks (Deaths)

: Before the hon. Gentleman moves on from accommodation, was he as shocked as I was to read what was said in the Blake report about the way in which the male and female accommodation was not segregated, which led to some more-than-unfortunate incidents? Does he agree that when considering accommodation, we have to consider the safety and security of new female recruits to the Army?
