Proceeding contribution from Baroness Royall of Blaisdon (Labour) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 3 May 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Bill [HL].

Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Bill [HL]

If the Committee will excuse me, perhaps I may respond to a point made by the noble Lord, Lord Laming. I wish to reiterate something, as I know that that is difficult when people are speaking. There is one key phrase—that those who undertake a caring and supporting role in community care settings, including day services and day centres, will be covered by the bar.
