Electoral Administration Bill
had given notice of his intention to move Amendment No. 22:"After Clause 12, insert the following new clause—" ““MANNER OF VOTING OF PATIENTS DETAINED IN MENTAL HOSPITALS Omit paragraph 2(6)(a) of Schedule 4 to the Representation of the People Act 2000 (c. 2) (absent voting in Great Britain).”” The noble Lord said: My Lords, in view of the amendments in this group that the Government have tabled, it is not my intention to move either Amendment No. 22 or Amendment No. 23. [Amendment No. 22 not moved.] [Amendment No. 23 not moved.]
