Proceeding contribution from Alison Seabeck (Labour) in the House of Commons on Friday, 12 May 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill on Climate Change and Sustainable Energy Bill.
Climate Change and SustainableEnergy Bill
To pick up on the hon. Lady’s point about local authorities and planning changes, the relaxation of the permitted development guidelines will be tremendously helpful particularly in the rural areas that do not havea good gas supply. Enabling people to put up microgeneration projects within the curtilage of their property will also undoubtedly be a significant change.
