Armed Forces Bill
The clause provides for life, and there is an amendment that would delete that. He either supports that or he does not. If not, these are weasel words, quite frankly. I heard what he said in his speech, but it is not the same as his actions. My hon. Friend the Member for Hayes and Harlington (John McDonnell) emphasised that under clause 8, life is a possibility, and I support him in wanting to get rid of that.
