Proceeding contribution from Lord Skelmersdale (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 20 June 2006. It occurred during Debates on delegated legislation on Contracting Out (Functions Relating to Child Support) Order 2006.

Contracting Out (Functions Relating to Child Support) Order 2006

My Lords, before the Minister leaves that point, can he make it clear that the contracts will be between the department and the contractors rather than the CSA and the contractors? If it is to be the latter, I, and any reasonable individual, would have thought that such contracts should at least pass through the hands of the management of the CSA.
