Proceeding contribution from Chris Bryant (Labour) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 25 October 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill on Charities Bill (HL).
Charities Bill [Lords]
Does my hon. Friend recognise this anomaly: the Government have chosen to change clause 2(3), so that the definition of religion includes"““a religion which involves belief in more than one god, and a religion which does not involve belief in a god””," but the provision does not state that a religion might involve belief in a single God?
