Proceeding contribution from Lord Adonis (Labour) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 1 November 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill on Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Bill [HL].

Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Bill [HL]

My Lords, I have to confess that, as I am not the Minister personally responsible for the development of the IBB in the scheme, I had not been paying attention to the development of our thinking on kitemarking and to how we might evaluate the experience of Northern Ireland in this regard. However, I will draw the noble Baroness’s remarks to the attention of my honourable friend Parmjit Dhanda. I am sure that he has been considering this issue, and I shall write to her about it. On Question, Motion agreed to.
