Proceeding contribution from Lord Campbell of Alloway (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Monday, 22 January 2007. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HL) and Debate on bill on Legal Services Bill [HL].
Legal Services Bill [HL]
I greatly appreciated the noble Lord’s speech. In a sentence, he is saying that the parameters within which discretion is to be exercised must be in the Bill, otherwise it is an absolute discretion.
