Proceeding contribution from Lord Kingsland (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Monday, 22 January 2007. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HL) and Debate on bill on Legal Services Bill [HL].
Legal Services Bill [HL]
I am most grateful. In so far as there is a division between the view of the Government and that of the Opposition, it is a matter not of principle but of evidence. I would like the opportunity to discuss this with my noble friend Lord Hunt between now and Report. Meanwhile, I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn. Clause 12 agreed to. Schedule 2 [The reserved legal activities]: [Amendment No. 40 not moved.] Schedule 2 agreed to. Clauses 13 to 18 agreed to. Schedule 3 [Exempt persons]:
