It is plain that the noble Baroness is not going to accept the amendment today. She said that she wanted to reflect on all the points raised in the debate. It is only fair that she is given the opportunity to do so. However, I hope that she will not mind my saying that I have not yet heard a convincing argument from the government Benches that the amendment in any way undermines the Bill’s regulatory objectives; on the contrary, it would assist the Government to achieve its objectives. I hope that the noble Baroness will accept the amendment on Report. Meanwhile, I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn.
