Women, Justice and Gender Equality
May I conclude the remarks about Lady Thatcher? We seem to be incapable of getting away from her. The shrillness of those on the Labour Benches smacks a little of jealousy to me. Margaret Thatcher became Prime Minister on her own merits, unlike many Labour Members who could only be levered into the House by means of all-women shortlists.
