Proceeding contribution from Alun Michael (Labour) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 13 March 2007. It occurred during Debate on bill on Statistics and Registration Service Bill.
Statistics and Registration Service Bill

Such statistics would be for the purposes of international comparison, and would not therefore have to meet the test of ““public good”” in a local or national context.
