Proceeding contribution from Rob Marris (Labour) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 13 March 2007. It occurred during Debate on bill on Statistics and Registration Service Bill.
Statistics and Registration Service Bill
Survey data have been mentioned by several Members, including the hon. Gentleman and the hon. Member for Falmouth and Camborne (Julia Goldsworthy). Are not such data covered by clause 36(1)? That provision gives a blanket block on release, subject to some of the other provisions of the clause, so surely an individual’s information would be protected.
