Proceeding contribution from Adam Price (Plaid Cymru) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 14 March 2007. It occurred during Debate on Trident.
Trident
The Foreign Secretary, in referring to the remarks by Mohamed el-Baradei, seemed to give the impression that he was criticising only the United Kingdom in this regard. In the interest of accuracy, I quote what he actually said:"““Nuclear feeds nuclear. As long as certain countries””—" all nuclear countries—"““continue to insist on the indispensable character of nuclear weapons for their security, other countries will want to procure them.””" That is his argument.
