Let me tell the hon. Gentleman what the right hon. Member for Birkenhead (Mr. Field) said recently. He was the Minister for Pensions at the time and he said:"““When Labour gained power in 1997, Britain’s occupational pensions were the envy of the world…Ten years on the scene is one of large-scale desolation.?"
