Occupational Pensions
I am not going to go down that route. Certainly there was an assumption that the sun would always shine on pension funds and stock markets, but hindsight is a wonderful thing. The long-term challenges, including an ageing population and other changes in society, have been recognised and should have been taken into account by actuaries and companies.
