Occupational Pensions
The hon. Gentleman asks whether it is fair to have a means test, but why did his party have a means test for pensioners? Also, is it fair that the means test operated when his party was in power provided poor single pensioners with a weekly income of £68? Is it not fairer that under our system of pension credit that sum is now £117 a week?
