Proceeding contribution from Baroness Hanham (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Thursday, 12 July 2007. It occurred during Debate on bill on Sustainable Communities Bill.
Sustainable Communities Bill
My Lords, I do not think that he can, because they are questions for the Government. If I cannot ask the Government my questions, I will assume that they have been answered. That seems to be a sensible way to leave it. I hope that the Minister will accept the assurances given in the other place that there will be no further amendments and that the Bill will be accepted. I hope that I do not need to cause a kerfuffle and flurry on the other side of the Chamber again. I give the Bill my wholehearted support and thank my noble friend Lord Marlesford for introducing it.
