Proceeding contribution from Tony Wright (Labour) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 17 July 2007. It occurred during Debate on bill on Pensions Bill.
Pensions Bill
For the sake of accuracy, and as he is quoting us liberally, I am sure the hon. Gentleman would want to record the fact that we say:"““Any assessment of the increase in benefit””—" that is, from the review—"““can only be speculative. We do not have the expertise to comment on whether the proposals for a review of unclaimed assets stand a realistic prospect of success.””" I am sure the hon. Gentleman meant to add that.
