Land Maintenance Companies

My hon. Friend makes a relevant point. People are prepared to pay for the service, but they are paying up to £400 and not receiving a service. It is striking that one of his constituents on one of Greenbelt’s estates received a letter on 12 July stating that they will not have to pay because of the disrepair of the estate, but on 13 July another resident on the same estate was told that they must pay up. The company does not seem to know what it is doing.
