Proceeding contribution from Lord Hain (Labour) in the House of Commons on Monday, 7 January 2008. It occurred during Debate on bill on Pensions Bill.

Pensions Bill

I would like to make some progress, and if necessary, I shall give way if the hon. Gentleman feels that any points have not been answered. Pension stakeholders from the City are clear: the promise for future pensioners embodied in this Bill must not be put at risk by disagreements about the finer details, still less by political posturing.
