Proceeding contribution from Lord Adonis (Labour) in the House of Lords on Monday, 14 January 2008. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Children and Young Persons Bill [HL].

Children and Young Persons Bill [HL]

In order to meet the obligations under subsection (7A), to be inserted by Clause 8, a local authority would need to provide sufficient accommodation within its own locality.
