Proceeding contribution from Jim Murphy (Labour) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 20 February 2008. It occurred during Debate on treaty on Treaty of Lisbon (No. 5).
Treaty of Lisbon (No. 5)
I will happily give way again to the hon. Lady if she wishes. I was actually quoting the Maastricht treaty. I did not write it; the hon. Lady's party took it through Parliament when it was in government. [Interruption.] I know that. The shadow Defence Secretary and the shadow Foreign Secretary both supported the treaty text that I have just shared with the House.
