Proceeding contribution from Lord Murphy of Torfaen (Labour) in the House of Commons on Thursday, 28 February 2008. It occurred during Adjournment debate on Welsh Affairs.

Welsh Affairs

I will take up the hon. Gentleman's point with my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport. I am not the world's greatest expert on sport, but I understand the general point that the hon. Gentleman is making—that if there are events that can be held in Wales with the Olympics, that must be a good thing for the Welsh people.
