Proceeding contribution from Lord Murphy of Torfaen (Labour) in the House of Commons on Thursday, 28 February 2008. It occurred during Adjournment debate on Welsh Affairs.

Welsh Affairs

I can remember the Empire swimming pool—it was an awfully long time ago. I agree that we need to consider these aspects. Of course, there are benefits for businesses, too, because of the arrival of the Olympics. I do not know of any country in the world that would not want to hold the Olympics, with the effect that can come to business and industry.
