Proceeding contribution from David Jones (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Thursday, 28 February 2008. It occurred during Adjournment debate on Welsh Affairs.
Welsh Affairs
The hon. Gentleman has mentioned the Minister for Health and Social Services in the Welsh Assembly Government. Did that Minister not preside over the proposal to require neurosurgery patients in north Wales to travel to Cardiff or Swansea for treatment and elective surgery, rather than to the Walton centre, which is currently the case? Is it not a Labour Minister who introduced that policy?
