Proceeding contribution from Mark Pritchard (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Thursday, 28 February 2008. It occurred during Adjournment debate on Welsh Affairs.

Welsh Affairs

The hon. Gentleman mentioned 1,000 trainers. Is he aware of a recent PCS survey, which revealed that 98 per cent. of trainers in other parts of the country who have been asked to relocate to Wales are either unwilling or unable to do so? In the national interest, it is important that the Government provide clarity on the issue. It is no good having trainees in Wales if there are no trainers.
