Proceeding contribution from Lord Taylor of Goss Moor (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 18 March 2008. It occurred during Adjournment debate on Water Strategy.
Water Strategy
I completely share the hon. Lady's view on that point, which is why if we go down the route of the rising block tariff, it is important that information be shared with the water companies so that support can be given as automatically as possible, rather than claimed, as Ofwat say it must be. All the evidence shows that when it must be claimed, the most vulnerable rarely get it.
