House of Lords (Members’ Taxation Status) Bill [HL]
I do not know if I can assist the noble Lord. The normal rule in Committee allows interventions, but it might be better if the noble Lord puts his points, other noble Lords speak, I then give a government view and the noble Lord, Lord Oakeshott, winds up. Would that be acceptable to the House? It seems to me that that is the way we should go.
