Proceeding contribution from Earl Howe (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 21 May 2008. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Health and Social Care Bill.

Health and Social Care Bill

I am going to have to think very carefully about that one—that the significance of the risk is implicit in the drafting. I could not see that it was. If the noble Baroness tells me that it is, then I must take that seriously. I shall go and look at it even more carefully. In view of the hour it is appropriate for me now simply to withdraw the amendment. I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn.
