Proceeding contribution from Baroness Hamwee (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Lords on Monday, 16 June 2008. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Housing and Regeneration Bill.

Housing and Regeneration Bill

I am grateful for that. The term ““mismanagement”” is defined in Clause 274. I am not sure whether, in responding to the second of the amendments, the Minister intended it to be a technical term, but it is defined as, "““managed in contravention of a provision””," which would not be the case in the salami slicing, or, "““otherwise conducted improperly or inappropriately””."
