Pensions Bill
It is fine if we discuss some of that detail in due course, but I draw the noble Baroness’s attention specifically to Clause 62(2), which says that: "““The Secretary of State may not make the order without the consent of the trustees””—" that is, an order other than one setting up the scheme—and that the trustees have to consult members’ and employers’ panels. That seems quite a long way from the Secretary of State micromanaging the scheme.
