Government Capital Expenditure
Indeed, I have just named Joseph Stiglitz, who made the point that Britain did the right thing when the economy was good, thanks to the rules and framework that we introduced in 1997. That fiscal responsibility is explains why we can afford to borrow more now to support our economy through these difficult times.
