Amendment 128 128: After Clause 32, insert the following new Clause— "Income Income from private health care in NHS foundation trusts For subsections (1) to (7) of section 44 of the National Health Service Act 2006 (c. 41) (private health care) substitute— "(1) For the purposes of the treatment of income derived from private charges, NHS foundation trusts will have parity with all other NHS trusts. (2) NHS trusts receiving income from private patient services will be required to demonstrate the benefit to their NHS patients. (3) "Private charges" means charges imposed in respect of goods and services provided to patients other than patients being provided with goods and services for the purposes of the health service.""
