Proceeding contribution from Lord Clarke of Hampstead (Labour) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 31 March 2009. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HL) and Debate on bill on Postal Services Bill [HL].
Postal Services Bill [HL]
This is a very nice atmosphere in which to be discussing these matters. Unanimity and friendship are breaking out all over. Seriously, I am indebted to the Minister for that last remark. I shall probably take advice on this issue and, no doubt, return to it at a later stage. In the mean time, I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment 46 withdrawn. Amendment 47 not moved.
