Proceeding contribution from Lord Kirkwood of Kirkhope (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 1 April 2009. It occurred during Debate on bill on Borders, Citizenship and Immigration Bill [HL].

Borders, Citizenship and Immigration Bill [HL]

My Lords, I would be happy to meet officials and I hope that such a meeting can be organised. I perfectly well understand the point about having a definition that is consistent across public policy. On that basis, I am happy to withdraw the amendment. Amendment 57ZA withdrawn.
