Finance Bill

I would be grateful for the opportunity to give one more quotation, Madam Deputy Speaker. I hope that you will find it of some interest and pertinence. It says that""in the years to come as the UK experiences various shocks it will be possible to assess in more detail the strengths and weaknesses of the new system"." That is the new system that we are now considering, which is in ruins. We are now trying to find a way of reconstructing it, of which the Finance Bill is playing a part. Let me go on—
