I am delighted that the hon. Gentleman has now looked at the CEBR report. I wonder whether he has read the sentence in it that states:""The data also shows that the acceleration in retail sales volume was not achieved through fire sales and fierce discounting on the high street."" That exactly addresses one of the concerns that he and others have raised.
