Proceeding contribution from Evan Harris (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Commons on Friday, 15 May 2009. It occurred during Debate on bill on Special Educational Needs and Disability (Support) Bill.

Special Educational Needs and Disability (Support) Bill

The reason why there are so many people here on a busy constituency Friday, as the hon. Gentleman points out, is that we recognise not only the importance of the matters covered in the Bill and the needs of the people to whom it is directed, but his own personal and longstanding commitment to making progress on these issues for the sake of the people whose needs the Bill seeks to meet.
