Proceeding contribution from Lord Taylor of Holbeach (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Monday, 1 June 2009. It occurred during Debate on bill on Marine and Coastal Access Bill [HL].
Marine and Coastal Access Bill [HL]
My Lords, as I indicated earlier, I am particularly unhappy with the Minister’s response to this amendment. I still feel that the safeguard is necessary and will provide a valuable restraint on the use of this power. I therefore wish to test the opinion of the House. Division on Amendment 124SA Contents 71; Not-Contents 158. Amendment 124SA disagreed.
