My Lords, I am sorry that the noble Lord, Lord Bridges, takes such a negative view of what was intended as a positive suggestion. However, I am grateful for the Minister’s response, which I found very reassuring. I am also reassured by the fact that Natural England is taking a great interest in this matter, and is aware of the risks both to the public and to habitat that might be occasioned by uninhibited access. I accept the Minister’s reassurance on the method of introduction of restrictions in the case of salt marshes and mudflats, and beg leave to withdraw my amendment. Amendment 124TA withdrawn.
