Coroners and Justice Bill

I am grateful to the noble and gallant Lord. In my letter, I said: ""I fully recognise the disquiet that the cross-reference to Section 8 of the 2006 Act may cause. While I cannot undertake to bring forward an amendment to the Bill, I am ready to look again at the drafting of Clause 14 to see whether the definition of active service could be set out in full there rather than cross-referencing it to Section 8"." I stand by that today.
