Proceeding contribution from Baroness Finlay of Llandaff (Crossbench) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 23 June 2009. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HL) and Debate on bill on Coroners and Justice Bill.
Coroners and Justice Bill
I appreciate the Minister’s response. However, I suggest that the Government consider that a duplicate should be kept by the doctor who has signed the certificate to form part of his or her appraisal process and appraisal folder, as the way they have filled out these certificates and undertaken examinations can be ascertained and gone into in a little more detail during the appraisal process than simply by looking at the certificate itself. In the mean time, I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment 72 withdrawn. Amendment 72A not moved.
