14A: Insert the following new Clause- "Private health care (1) Section 44 (private health care) of the National Health Service Act 2006 (c. 41) is amendment as follows. (2) In subsection (2)- (a) after "is not greater than" insert "- (a)"; (b) at end insert "or (b) 1.5% of the total income of the NHS foundation trust, whichever is the greater." (3) After subsection (2) insert- (2A) The power conferred by subsection (1) must be exercised subject to the principle that the provision of goods and services in return for private charges must in all circumstances be in the interests of the National Health Service."
