Energy Security

The hon. Gentleman makes a serious allegation when he suggests that these were false statistics. That is clearly not the case. The statistics that we issued were taken straight from the National Grid Company, and they show what we said clearly—I have the press release here—which is that""At today's level of gas demand, our storage level equates to…8.1 days."" It pointed out the actual demand on each day and the amount of storage. That is a factual statement and I hope that he will accept it.
