Proceeding contribution from Jonathan Shaw (Labour) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 24 February 2010. It occurred during Adjournment debate on Workplace Temperatures.

Workplace Temperatures

I assure my hon. Friend that that is not an attempt to avoid the issue, which is why the previous Secretary of State, my right hon. Friend the Member for Stalybridge and Hyde (James Purnell), undertook to ensure that that work was completed. We take the matter seriously. The HSE has received more than 445 responses to its initial scoping questionnaire last year from a wide range of sectors. The questionnaire was supplemented by a well-attended stakeholder event in July 2009.
